Cirque Du Soleil
Cinema 4D with Unreal Engine
Celebrating 30 years of Cirque Du Soleil in Las Vegas.
I fully joined this project when the original model and scene had already been built elsewhere… However, I was being consulted on how to achieve the desired output. At a certain point I took on the 3D part of the project.
The render times previously weren’t conducive to creating animations. I optimised and simplified the model, built the variations, brought them into Unreal Engine, and textured and lit the scene in UE. Now we were able to render animations in a reasonable time.
The client-agency required a series of camera animation clips, which they would build on, to create their animations. Plus, still images of the front view with different neon light states were needed so they could create their animated Key Visuals.
